23rd   to  24th January 2014, Rome, Italy - Business Systems Laboratory - 2nd International Symposium. SYSTEMS THINKING FOR A SUSTAINABLE ECONOMY:  Advancements in Economic and Managerial Theory and Practice

The symposium aims to address the global sustainability challenges by a systemic perspective.

The criticalities and the opportunities of sustainability will be faced according to the cutting edge research and practice in the various fields of social science.

This multidisciplinary perspective  includes: economics, management, engineering and sociology.

In particular the symposium will focus on the epistemological, theoretical, methodological, technical and practical contributions of the systemic approach to sustainable development to shape an agenda to address the present global economic and social challenges.

The official language of the symposium is English and it is structured into 8 panels, each one lasting about 3 hours.
