If this year’s Fortune Brainstorm Green conference is anything like last year’s, you won’t want to miss what has been regarded by many as the leading national conference on business and the environment.

The Brainstorm Green community is made up of a diverse cross-section of Fortune 500 CEOs, leaders from the environmental movement, senior government officials, and other informed luminaries. These are some of the brightest minds in sustainability from business, government, and NGOs.

Former President Bill Clinton was the featured speaker at Brainstorm Green 2011, and past participants have included Sir Richard Branson, Patagonia founder Yvon Chouinard, WalMart’s Scott Lee and REI CEO Sally Jewell, among many others. And Brainstorm Green 2012, to be held at the Ritz Carlton in Laguna Niguel, California, April 16-18, promises to be just as illuminating.

Since 2001, events at Fortune Brainstorm Green have been known for their interactive formats where fresh ideas are forged and valuable relationships among influential leaders are built. And you can be a part of it.

The 2012 program will focus on four key areas:

*Business Transformation – wherein many businesses like yours can find ways to reduce energy usage, eliminate waste and save money.

*Energy and Climate – discussing how various industries can adjust their energy consumption to counteract climate change.

*Green Technology – how innovative, cutting-edge companies are rewiring the economy by placing intelligence into our entire infrastructure.

*Natural Resources – how businesses that learn how to operate in a world of scarce resources will be best positioned to prosper in the future.
